About This Chikitsa (Treatments)
Panchakarma Shuddhikaran Chikitsa is the cornerstone of authentic Ayurvedic healing — a classical five-step Shodhana (purification) program designed to remove accumulated Ama (toxins) from the body’s tissues and restore the natural balance of Vata, Pitta, and Kapha. Rooted in the lineage of Ayurvedacharya Guruji Govind, this is not a quick spa therapy, but a time-tested medical process guided by generations of Vaidya wisdom.
What is Panchakarma Shuddhikaran?
In classical Ayurveda, disease begins when Ama accumulates in the body due to weak Agni (digestive fire), disturbed daily routine (Dinacharya), and dosha imbalance. Panchakarma is the science of Shodhana — deep cellular purification — described in the Charaka Samhita and Ashtanga Hridayam as the most powerful method to eliminate this root cause, rather than merely managing symptoms.
Who Should Consider This Program
- Chronic fatigue and low Ojas (vitality)
- Weak digestion, bloating, and Agnimandya
- Joint stiffness and Vata-related discomfort
- Dull, congested skin and Pitta imbalance
- Stress, disturbed sleep, and mental heaviness
- Seasonal (Ritu) detoxification before season change
Our Chikitsa Protocol
- Purvakarma (Preparation): Deepana-Pachana to kindle Agni, followed by Snehana (internal and external oleation) and Swedana (sudation) to loosen deep-seated toxins.
- Pradhanakarma (Main Therapy): Based on your unique Prakriti and current dosha imbalance, Guruji selects the appropriate karma — Vamana, Virechana, Basti, Nasya, or Raktamokshana.
- Paschatkarma (Post-Therapy): A carefully graded Samsarjana Krama (diet reintroduction) followed by Rasayana therapy to rebuild strength, immunity, and Ojas.
Herbs & Formulations Used
This program draws on our family’s generational Aushadh Yog — medicated Ghrita (ghee), Taila (oils) for Snehana, and classical Rasayana formulations prepared using traditional Shodhana, Bhavana, and Paka methods, as described on our Divya Aushadhi page.
Pathya-Apathya (Diet & Lifestyle During the Program)
Warm, light, and freshly prepared meals are recommended; cold, heavy, fried, and stale foods are avoided. Adequate rest, early sleep, and abstaining from excessive physical or mental exertion support the body’s natural cleansing process.
Why Choose Guruji Govind for Panchakarma
For 5–7 generations, this family lineage has practiced Panchakarma using diagnostic methods and rare herbal preparations passed down directly from Rishi tradition — never documented in modern books. Every protocol is personalized to your Prakriti, not a one-size-fits-all package.
